Connect to Stripe & KYC

Stripe is Snappmeal's payment processing provider. And as European law requires, you need to connect to Stripe and verify the authentication with Stripe. (👉 Check more on Stripe website or check this video tutorial ENG or FIN.)

This step is mandatory for you to complete before you can start selling online on Snappmeal.

After the KYC (Know Your Customer) process is done, your online store will be enabled on the Snappmeal platform.

❗️NOTE: you can skip this step and go-ahead to create items for your online store. However, in order to make your store visible to our Snappmeal users, you need to finish this step.

3.1 Go to 'Connect to Stripe' on the Snappmeal web app

3.2 Finnish verification of your business on Stripe (Know Your Customer - KYC)

On this page, choose your type of business. If your business is a Private Trader, choose Toiminimi.

For this type of business, verification is the most simple process. If your business is Limited Partnership, choose Yritys/Företag.
